GHC WhatsApp Group

The GHC committee have recognised that there is a need for more immediate communication with our members and as such have set up a Gliding Heritage Centre News Community WhatsApp group.

The idea is that a few reliable Admins on the group will be able to post on a purely announcements only group letting members who join know about ad hoc flying days, hangar repacks, work parties, Winter talks announcements, AGM notice or anything else that they feel the members might like to come and support or be interested in.

There will be no way for anyone other than the Admins to post on this group so it is not a banter type WhatsApp group.

However, embedded within this WhatsApp group will be a second chat group which will be open to any member to join separately to post in to ask questions or otherwise communicate with anyone else who decides to join the chat group.

The committee hopes that using WhatsApp will improve the general and immediate communication with members.
